From 21 to 25 September, Cerasarda returns to CERSAIE with an autonomous and strongly distinctive exhibition space, conceived as a gallery dedicated to material, colour and the culture of making. A presence that also extends into the Gruppo Romani stand, across the areas dedicated to conviviality developed with Casaornella and the exhibition spaces of Serenissima, CIR, Cercom and Verde.
A layered narrative that brings together the different facets of Cerasarda and its ability to engage with different languages, materials and interpretations of contemporary living.
From Milan to Bologna: a story that continues
Some encounters leave a trace. Ideas, gestures and visions that continue to evolve even after a place has been left behind.
It is from this reflection that What We Leave, What We Find takes shape: the narrative accompanying Gruppo Romani and Casaornella at Cersaie 2026, continuing the creative dialogue launched during Milan Design Week with Maria Vittoria Paggini, designer and creative director of Casaornella.
In Bologna, the project takes on a new form: surfaces, furnishings, colour and details create an experience to move through and inhabit, in which ceramics go beyond a purely exhibition-based dimension to become a material capable of welcoming, accompanying and preserving the traces of encounters
Casaornella’s contribution runs throughout the Gruppo Romani exhibition space, giving it a highly distinctive character. From the reception area to the corridors and the four areas dedicated to conviviality, Maria Vittoria Paggini interprets the theme of encounter through settings designed not only to be observed, but above all to be lived.
The Cerasarda universe is not confined to its own gallery. Cerasarda also enters these spaces, bringing its materiality and colour into a narrative built around relationships, cross-pollination and different ways of experiencing space.
This presence continues within the four areas dedicated to Serenissima, CIR, Cercom and Verde, where Cerasarda surfaces become decorative, chromatic and material accents, creating connections between the different identities within the Gruppo Romani portfolio.
A transversal presence capable of bringing different languages into dialogue and expressing Cerasarda ceramics’ ability to engage with different aesthetics, materials and ways of living.
The brand’s artisanal character thus becomes a true design element: not simply a decorative reference, but a material capable of generating contrasts, balances and new compositional possibilities.
Cerasarda: a gallery dedicated to material
Alongside this transversal presence, Cerasarda has its own autonomous space at Cersaie, conceived to narrate the evolution of the brand and strengthen its positioning within the contemporary design landscape.
More than a stand, a true gallery: an immersive environment in which material, colour, decoration and craftsmanship become narrative tools.
At its heart remains Sardinia, interpreted not through conventional imagery, but through its material culture, landscape, light and artisanal knowledge. A territory that becomes the starting point for building a contemporary language capable of bringing memory and design into dialogue.
Cerasarda thus expresses its own idea of contemporary craftsmanship: highly tactile surfaces, intentionally irregular details, colour and decoration give life to ceramics that preserve the value of the human gesture while translating it into a contemporary design language.
Earth, light, breath: Cerasarda’s new chromatic landscape
At Cersaie 2026, Cerasarda evolves its historic visual vocabulary through three shades that bring memory and contemporaneity into dialogue.
This is not simply about colour, but about a narrative rooted in the Sardinian landscape and in the very history of the manufacture.
Cerasarda Orange is Light. Iconic, warm and sunlit, it evokes Mediterranean energy, earth warmed by the sun and the fire of the kiln. A shade that belongs to the brand’s history and continues to represent one of its most recognisable expressions.
Dark Brown is Earth. Deep and material, it recalls clay, rock, the burnt tones of the landscape and the more archaic dimension of ceramic craftsmanship. It is root, stability and the memory of making.
Between Earth and Light comes Acqua Velata, the Breath. A new, delicate and desaturated shade inspired by the more rarefied dimension of the Mediterranean landscape: water, the horizon, the suspended light of the early morning. A tone that introduces visual quietness and lightness, allowing materiality to take centre stage.
Three colours that create a balance between strength and stillness, memory and contemporaneity, defining a chromatic landscape capable of expressing the Cerasarda identity through an authentic and understated luxury.
New collections and special projects
Taking centre stage are Nouvelle Déco, Pura and Smeralda, new collections that interpret a shared creative universe through different languages, where material research, decorative culture and the value of craftsmanship come together.
Alongside the new proposals, Porto Rotondo returns. Its comeback renews the dialogue between past and present, recovering a code deeply rooted in the identity of the brand and reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens. Expanding the collection’s design possibilities is the new Flora décor, which enriches Porto Rotondo with a new decorative interpretation and strengthens its versatility within interior spaces.
The gallery also hosts special projects such as Herbarium, Janas and Faccia, expressions of Cerasarda’s ability to explore ceramic surfaces through decoration, artistic research and experimentation.
Different collections and projects coexist within a single landscape, revealing a Cerasarda capable of preserving its heritage while continuing to transform it.
Join the Branco
Around the project, the Branco comes together once again: Boffi, Corpo Luce, Galassia, Kerakoll, Softhouse, EMAC, Sammontana and ovre., brands and creative partners with different skills and languages that contribute to the construction of the space through furnishings, lighting, colour, material, details and moments of conviviality.
Not simply a sum of products, but a system of relationships in which each identity retains its own voice and, precisely through dialogue with the others, opens up new design possibilities.
Here too, Cerasarda becomes a meeting ground.
With Boffi, the ceramic surface becomes a furnishing element: a table with a Cerasarda top transforms material into a point of encounter and sharing, bringing ceramic culture and design into dialogue.
With Corpo Luce, the dialogue shifts to light. The brand’s lampshades meet Cerasarda ceramic bases developed specifically for the project, creating objects in which lighting, material and craftsmanship come together.
The dialogue also continues with ovre., the studio with which Cerasarda has already developed an ongoing design relationship. The coffee tables designed by the studio enter the different areas of the stand and once again take Cerasarda surfaces beyond their traditional application, transforming them into elements of contemporary living.
Three different interpretations that express the same attitude: bringing ceramics into dialogue with other languages in order to explore new expressive and design possibilities.
What We Leave, What We Find.
What we leave, what we find. And everything that emerges in between: material, encounters, cross-pollination and new possibilities.
