From the Cerasarda Experience to Ogliastra: a meeting with architect and writer Alessandro Romito gives rise to a project that brings together ceramics, culture, and the local area.
It all started with a meeting.
It is during the Cerasarda Experience that Cerasarda meets Alessandro Romito, an architect based in Florence and a writer, author of a noir trilogy set in Triei, in Ogliastra.
From this initial exchange, a relationship was born that immediately found common ground: Sardinia, its places, its stories, and its identity. This encounter evolved into a project that brought Cerasarda into the heart of the region, forging a connection between ceramics, literature, and culture.
From the Cerasarda Experience to Triei
The collaboration with Alessandro Romito takes shape in Triei, a place at the heart of his trilogy and the setting for an initiative through which Cerasarda becomes an integral part of the town’s landscape.
For the occasion, two benches decorated with Cerasarda surfaces: one featuring the Dame design, the other the Cavalieri design, both part of the I Classiciseries. Both also feature the Cerasarda monogram from the Porto Rotondo series, incorporated as the brand’s distinctive signature.
Ceramics thus become part of the place: not merely a surface, but a symbol, a story, and a presence in the local landscape, capable of forging a connection between Cerasarda’s creative heritage and Triei’s identity.
Cerasarda Supports Local Culture
On August 27, 2026, an evening dedicated to Alessandro Romito’s noir trilogy was held in Triei’s main square.
Cerasarda has chosen to support the event as a cultural sponsor, contributing to an initiative that focuses on literature, community, and the local area.
At the event, attended by Mayor Anna Maria Chironi, Councilor for Culture Tiziana Murru, and Alessandro Romito himself, Cerasarda was represented by Gianni Manconi.
A project that began with a meeting and evolved through a shared dialogue, once again highlighting Cerasarda’s deep connection to Sardinia, its culture, and the people who embody it.
