An enchanted oasis with nature as the protagonist. Rocks sculpted by the wind, coves with white-pink sand, crystal-clear sea with a thousand shades that change following the seasons and the rhythm of the wind, Mediterranean maquis with intense scents… this is the fantastic scenery that fascinated Prince Aga Khan one spring in the late 1950s and led him to found an important project: the Costa Smeralda Consortium, a nonprofit association aimed at urban and territorial development and architectural control of the area. The Architecture Committee played a central role in the project. The prince called in world-renowned architects such as Luigi Vietti, Jacques Coulle, Michele Busiri Vici, and Antonio Simon Mossa, then involved others over the years.

Cerasarda interprets the culture, colors and light of Sardinia, transforming them into exclusive ceramic surfaces. From the names of the collections to the use of photography: Cerasarda’s narrative is a continuous ode to the land where he belongs.
