Cerasarda, the Costa Smeralda ceramic company, and Tecnoverde Garden “Green-Philosophy” will be among the leading participants at Olbia in Fiore, the horticulture show to be held in the city’s historic centre from 25 April to 5 May this year. In the evocative setting of Piazza Regina Margherita, Cerasarda and the Olbia garden centre will be creating an installation to showcase the relationship between the creativity of the ceramic company and the natural beauty of Sardinia.
The centrepiece of the show will be the Abitare la Terra collection, used to clad a metal structure of original geometrical form, enhanced by a green setting of Mediterranean flora designed by Tecnoverde.
Established in Olbia in 1963 by Prince Karim Aga Khan, Cerasarda was acquired in 2002 by Gruppo Romani, the ceramic floor and wall tile manufacturer with head offices at Casalgrande, Reggio Emilia, which has invested in the Olbia area with a new factory in its industrial area. The new configuration of the company combines the most innovative ceramic technologies with the traditional craftsmanship of Cerasarda products, resulting in new collections which are both versatile and contemporary without ever losing sight of their roots in local traditions.
